Hi, I’m Khirda, also known by my pen name, Rrerarureri. I am a freelance children’s illustrator based in Bojonegoro, Indonesia, and a graduate of Visual Communication Design from Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. For the past three years, I have been working in the field of children’s illustration, creating illustrations for children’s storybooks, educational comics, and storyboards for children’s series.
In my work, I have a deep interest in the world of visual storytelling, particularly through picture books. My main area of exploration is children’s illustration with a digital watercolor approach, although I am also open to exploring various other visual styles. For me, illustration is not merely a complement to a story, but rather a part of the storytelling process itself, a medium for translating emotions, building atmosphere, and developing narratives into visual forms that are alive, expressive, and meaningful.
